As well as our home groups, we also provide a range of other events and opportunities, to develop and share skills and gifts, welcome those new to our country or community, learn more about the Christian faith, develop skills, learn new things or simply enjoy time over food with other people in the church and community.
Our commitment to the welcome and care of children is a key part of our church’s ministry.
Every week-day between 8.30 am and 12.30 pm Lynette and her team welcome parents and their children to our mainly music and play group programme.
We welcome everyone who comes and provide morning tea for parents and food for children.
We celebrate births and birthdays, and provide advice and support for mothers and fathers, in a friendly, social environment.
Our ministry extends to include providing food parcels, counselling and referrals to specialist help providers. We have a toy library and also provide an opportunity to share produce, and toys that children have grown out of.
We also run a “Free Week” each term where people are encouraged to drop off clothing and household items they no longer use and, in return, are encouraged to browse through the items available and help themselves, free of charge, to things they might need.

Music is a feature of the church services held at the Clevedon Church. We are privileged to have some nationally renowned organists playing regularly at our 9 30 am Service and some talented musicians who lead our music team at our 11 am service.
Internationally acclaimed singer and music teacher Gina Sanders regularly provides students to sing at our 9 30 am service. Gina also organises a Christmas choir and other special music events.
The contemporary music at the 11 am service is provided by a music team which draws on the skills of some very talented musicians and singers.
If music or singing is a passion of yours, please contact the office for more detail on how you could become involved in this important ministry.
Our Christian enquiry and discussion programme focuses on resources provided by Alpha and other Christian teaching courses. We regularly provide programmes for those who would like to discover more about the Christian faith, or have an opportunity to talk about their own faith journey with others.
On the first Thursday of every month at the Clevedon church we hold a pot luck community lunch. Everyone is welcome, though this is especially focused on welcoming more senior members of our community. Hosted by Jennifer Kelly. Contact the office for more information.
